// How to use this template
04 steps
01

Save interesting roles to the board

When you find a job listing worth pursuing, create a card in Saved. Attach the job description link and note the application deadline. Label it Remote, Hybrid, or On-site to filter by work arrangement.

02

Track applications as you submit them

After applying, drag the card to Applied and log the submission date in a comment. Attach your tailored resume and cover letter to the card so you remember what you sent.

03

Prepare for each interview stage

Cards in Phone Screen and Interview are your active pipeline. Use checklists to track prep tasks - research the interviewer, review system design fundamentals, prepare STAR stories. Check them off as you complete each one.

04

Compare offers side by side

Cards in the Offer column represent your finish line. Add compensation details, benefits, and pros/cons in the card description. With all offers visible on one board, you can make a confident decision.

// FAQ
03 questions
01

How does a job search board beat a spreadsheet?

+

A spreadsheet tracks data. This board tracks momentum. You see at a glance how many applications are active, which ones have progressed to interviews, and where you need to follow up. Drag-and-drop makes updating your pipeline take seconds instead of cell editing.

02

Can I filter jobs by work arrangement?

+

Yes. Label each job as Remote, Hybrid, or On-site. Use the label filter to view only remote opportunities, or see your full pipeline. Labels help you balance your search across different work arrangements.

03

How do I keep track of interview prep for multiple companies?

+

Add a checklist to each interview card with prep tasks specific to that company - review their product, research the team, practice relevant coding patterns. Flux shows checklist progress on the card preview so you know which companies still need prep.
