// Standup Template

Async standups for remote teams.

Synchronous standup meetings across time zones waste everyone's morning. This board replaces them with a shared async view of last week, this week, blockers, and wins - updated on each person's schedule.

// How to use this template
04 steps
01

Post updates before the meeting

Each team member adds their cards to Last Week and This Week before standup. The meeting becomes a quick scan of the board instead of everyone narrating their week from memory.

02

Surface blockers early

The Blockers column makes obstacles visible to the whole team immediately. Managers can unblock issues before they stall work, without waiting for a synchronous meeting.

03

Celebrate wins

The Wins column captures accomplishments that might otherwise go unnoticed. It builds team morale and gives leadership a feed of positive momentum to share with stakeholders.

04

Archive and reset weekly

At the start of each week, move last week cards to archive and start fresh. The board history becomes a searchable log of what your team accomplished week over week.

// FAQ
03 questions
01

Does this replace our daily standup?

+

It can replace or supplement it. For remote teams across time zones, an async weekly board eliminates the need to find a shared meeting time. Teams can comment on each other cards throughout the week.

02

How do I handle a team with 10+ people?

+

Use labels or card prefixes to identify who posted each card. Alternatively, create one board per sub-team and use the multiboard view to see all standups at once.

03

Is this template free?

+

All Flux templates are free. Sign up, create a board, and set up columns to match this layout. No credit card required.
